Maciej Giedrowicz (1978 - 2017)

This page is dedicated to the memory of Maciej Gierdowicz, an enthusiast and collector of railways. After his death, his parents, Richard and Bozena, decided to sell the entire collection of over 3,000 locomotives, wagons, etc. They do not want the entire collection of their only son to be thrown away and wasted after their death. They want other hobbyists, like Maciej, to be able to enjoy the achievements of his life.

Maciej Giedrowicz, 38 (1978 – 2017), passed away peacefully on Monday, January 2, 2017, at the University of Pennsylvania Hospital, with his loving parents by his side. He enjoys traveling, and his hobby was collecting model trains and airplanes. At the age of 28, he was diagnosed with pulmonary. He has since gone on Disability, battling the disease for 10 years.
